There are agreed upon rules that are in place around the college and in Area 51.
The rules of Area 51 are as follows:
Chairs should always be left neat
and tidy at the desks after use.
Any misuse of the facilities MUST be reported to the Programme Leader.
Inappropriate use of the systems will not be tolerated.
No eating or drinking in Area51 at any time.
Mobile phones are not allowed to be used during class unless there is an emergency.

own laptops they do so at their

Ipods and consoles are strictly forbidden during timetabled sessions.
Students may only save work in their allocated areas.
Students may not download from the Internet without permission from a member of staff.
Students may not move or borrow equipment from Area51.
Students are not permitted in the Area51 complex without staff supervision.
Students may not use Area51 to play online games at any time.
Student expected to follow these rules at all times to ensure that everyone gets an equal opportunity to work in a safe and professional environment.

Attending class fully prepared
No shouting or behaving in a disruptive way
Treating furniture and equipment with respect
Submitting work on time in accordance with the College Policy
